The top is of the Baker Island Dress is a traditional cotton jersey sailor shirt with 3/4 sleeves and 2 shell buttons at the shoulder opening, made of organic cotton grown in Texas, spun and knit in North Carolina. It is high waisted and the Blue Ornithology cotton skirt is gathered. Wear it walking along rocky beaches, jumping over seaweed and picking rose-hips all the way to the lighthouse. Add a sweater on boat rides, and watch the waves for seals and the sky for osprey! This incredible Blue Ornithology print was designed from sketches by Edwyn Collins, who was best known for fronting Scottish rock band Orange Juice. It is a sketchbook on fabric complete with the names of the birds and the dates when they were drawn.
